Women's Yurt Retreat
SOLD OUT

Fryeburg, ME
February 24-26 2023

Refresh. Relax. Recharge.

Gather with a small group of ladies and get ready to have some fun! Make new friends and connections while disconnecting from everyday life. Plenty of drinks, food, and laughs. Enjoy sunrises and sunsets, fresh air and the smell of campfire. Twilight sauna session in the forest and a mountain-fed brook polar plunge under the stars.

Where We're Staying

We'll start off with a beautiful, snowy 1/2 mile hike (easy, 10-15min) to get to our weekend accommodations at a YURT with mountain views, privately nestled on almost 60 acres, complete with a whole network of hiking, cross-country, and snowshoeing trails just outside our door.

The yurt is a large one-room environment that comfortably sleeps 6 (separate beds) and stays plenty warm by means of a wood stove. Indoors, we'll have use of a changing tent, a picnic table and folding chairs, a large gas stove, lantern lighting, and is fully stocked with all of the necessities. Outside, we'll have use of a gas grill, a fire pit, and an exceptionally clean porta-potty. There's no running water or electricity; phones do have cell service.

What We're Doing

Activities include watching the sunset during a therapeutic wood-fired sauna session, a spring-fed mountain brook polar plunge under the stars, sunrise and sunset hiking, use of cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails, sledding through a field of apple trees, and more. It's all included and participation in any activity is optional!

Bring your snowshoes or xc skis and hit the trails, kick back and relax, sit around the campfire, cozy up by the wood stove, help cook a meal or have a snack, read a book, journal, self-meditate, knit, play a game of cards, take a nap, etc. It's up to you!
