Weekend Getaway Women's Retreat
SOLD OUT
Denmark, Maine
October 25-27 2024

Where We're Staying
We'll be staying in some of the cutest yurts and cabins surrounded by nature at a unique, eco-friendly, off-grid property in Western Maine. Enjoy sunrises and sunsets, the sounds of waterfalls and running brook water, walking trails just outside your door, and views of Mount Washington and the White Mountains.
Limited private and shared accommodations are available and will book up fast! The yurts and cabins are all cozy, one-room environments that stay plenty warm by means of a wood stove (if needed), have a table and chairs, and are fully stocked with all of the necessities. Each participant will have their own bed; if your group has a private accommodation please see occupancy notes.

All facilities and accommodations are within a 1-10 min walk from each other. There are maps and signs posted all around the property. The yurts, cabins, and buildings are easily found and clearly marked. Carts are available to wheel in your excess gear if you're unable to carry it all.
The cabins have solar power, the yurts are completely unplugged. All accommodations have light sources such as candles, oil lamps, and battery-operated lanterns.

Warm showers and running water can be found at the washhouse.
You’ll find soap, water, and hand sanitizer in each yurt/cabin. Clean, well-cared for composting toilets are just steps away.

Each yurt/cabin is heated by a wood stove which will be set up for you before your arrival, just toss a log in the fire occasionally to keep it going. It's easy, and Meg can help you too! There’s firewood at your yurt/cabin and an additional supply nearby.

Cell service is available with major carriers. Wi-Fi is available outside of The Lodge and Harmony Cabin. Please use headphones for audio.

Each yurt/cabin has a keycode door lock, an outdoor fire ring for small campfires, indoor seating, a wood stove, a cooler with an ice block, and an assortment of chilled beverages, snacks, organic tea, locally roasted coffee, and coffee creamers.
What We're Doing
Your 2-night, 3-day getaway retreat has been thoughtfully planned out and put together to be as beneficial and relaxing as possible. You will receive a detailed itinerary, menu, and packing list a few weeks prior to our getaway retreat. Our participants can look forward to:

All Inclusive Meals, Snacks and Drinks
Nonalcoholic beverages, various snacks (nutritious, sweet, salty, savory) and hearty meals are prepared and provided for you throughout your stay. Food preferences, dietary restrictions, etc. will be taken into account. All meals, and some snacks, will be served community style. You are welcome to enjoy your meal(s) at your yurt/cabin, which will also be stocked with an assortment of snacks and beverages.

60min Wood Fired Sauna and Soak Session
Fresh spring water infused with eucalyptus essential oil is ladled over hot lava rocks creating an aromatic steam. Breath in relaxation and enjoy the heat as your stress and tension melt away. Experience traditional sauna customs by pouring water over your body to feel refreshed. Move freely from the sauna to the transition room, an outside deck, or even take a dip in the spring fed mountain brook just a few steps away.

90min Sound Bath Meditation Session
Immerse yourself in positive vibrations and sounds made up of crystal bowls, chimes, drums, and gongs. It's hard to describe a sound bath experience; think calming, trance like, and pure magic. We'll be in a wood stove heated lodge. Yoga mats, blankets, blocks and bolsters are provided and can bring your own if you prefer. We welcome you to lie down and get comfortable for a peaceful nap during your sound bath meditation journey.
Affirmation and Intention Setting Circle
Let's come together to manifest positivity and empower each other's dreams and intentions. Sit back for the whole experience, choose to read aloud from a deck of affirmations, and if you're up for it, share your own personal dream, desire, affirmation, or intention. We'll direct all of our thoughts and energy to the members of our circle.

Natures Scenery, Walks and Hikes
Enjoy sunrises and sunsets, the sounds of running brook water, fresh air, and gathering around the campfire. Break off solo or as a group to explore the unique 30+ acre property, complete with trails just outside your door.

Participation and Free Time
All activities are optional. You can choose to participate in as much or as little as you're up for and have the ability to break away at any time. Retreat to your yurt/cabin, take a walk alone, read a book, journal, self-meditate, knit, play a game of cards, take a nap, etc. It's whatever you need, whenever. This weekend is all about you!
