Women's Fall Foliage Adventure

 New Hampshire White Mountains
October 6-9 2023

Explore. Adventure. Nomad.

Sit back and relax during this scenic, fun-filled 3-night, 4-day road trip-style adventure! Find yourself surrounded by foliage and crisp fall air as our driver takes us through the White Mountains and along the Kangamangus Highway.

We'll walk along the Flume Gorge trail, complete with boardwalks and bridges as we pass by waterfalls, natural pools, and moss-covered granite walls. If you'd like to enjoy the foliage from a different vantage point, take an aerial tramway ride up and down a mountain, hop on an alpine coaster to enjoy a leisurely scenic ride down a mountainside, soar through the sky on a seated zipline, and if you're a real thrill seeker, the giant swing is for you.

No road trip is complete without some great eats and adult beverages! We'll feast at a highly rated brunch spot, stop at a brewery, cidery, and winery for a tasting, and savor warm, fresh cider donuts and handmade pies.

Where We're Staying

Connect with nature and the outdoors! We'll set up camp at some of the most scenic sites along our way through the White Mountains. Enjoy evening free time to sit around the campfire, talk a walk, or lay on the beach and stargaze.

There's a 1-person, 2-person, and two 4-person tents available for use with your reservation and you're welcome to bring your own 1-2-person tent if you'd prefer to have your own accommodation.

Our campgrounds have picnic tables, fire pits, running water, flushing toilets, and shower facilities.

What We're Doing

Sit back and relax during this scenic, fun-filled 3-night, 4-day road trip-style adventure!

Your host will be driving a rental vehicle large enough to accommodate our group and gear, and has organized some pretty cool adventures and excursions for us to enjoy.

As we depart on our journey, transportation and pickup/dropoff is provided along I-95 Bangor to Gray Park-n-Rides and Greyhound/Concord Bus station, along Route 302 in Gray to Fryeburg, and from BGR or PWM airport.

We're leaf-peeping by car, on foot, and by air!

Soak up all the sights as we drive on the Kangamangus Highway and through the White Mountains. Walk along boardwalks and bridges as we pass by waterfalls, natural pools, moss-covered granite walls and gorgeous mountain views along the magical Flume Gorge trail (easy, 2mi, 1.5hr).

If you'd like to enjoy the foliage from a different vantage point, take an aerial tramway ride up and down a 4,000 ft mountain, grab some refreshments at the peak and enjoy the 360-degree observation deck, hop on an alpine coaster to enjoy a leisurely or thrilling (you control the speed, reach up to 25 mph) down a mountainside, take a seated zipline ride as you soar through the sky, and if you're a real thrill seeker you'll reach speeds up to 40 mph and experience gravitational force on a giant swing.

No road trip is complete without some great eats and adult beverages!

We'll feast at a highly rated brunch spot (the crepes and eggs benedict are to die for), stop at a brewery, cidery, and winery for a taste testing, satisfy your sweet tooth with freshly baked pies and cider donuts from a specialty market, and enjoy some campfire meals along our way.
